The hotel’s restaurant and coffee shop “Sakurakomachi” serves the local cuisine of Akita.
Highly recommended is Inaniwa Udon, piping hot thin noodles and crispy tempura. The noodles are ranked one of the top three types of noodles in Japan.
A popular menu item is the Oyako Donburi made with Hinaijidori Chicken.
“Okaribayaki” recreates the flavors of fresh game that the samurai would hunt. Much of what is on the menu can only be found in Kakunodate.
