みちのく潮風トレイル -Michinoku Coastal Trail-
みちのく潮風トレイルは、青森県八戸市蕪島から福島県相馬市松川浦までの4県28市町村にまたがり、全長1,000kmを超えるナショナルトレイルです。東北太平洋沿岸ならではのダイナミックな海、川、里、森と連続する美しい景観が特徴で、歩く中で人と人との温かな交流もみちのく潮風トレイルの大きな魅力の一つです。

The Michinoku  Coastal Trail is a national trail stretching over 1,000 km in length, spanning 28 cities, towns and villages in four prefectures from Kabushima in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture to Matsukawaura in Soma, Fukushima Prefecture. It features beautiful, continuous scenery of dynamic oceans, rivers, villages and forests that are unique to the Pacific coast of Tohoku, and one of the great attractions of the Michinoku Coastal Trail is the warm interactions between people along the way.

釜石ルートの特徴 -Features of the Kamaishi Route-
釜石ルートは、国指定天然記念物の三貫島や太平洋を臨む海岸線、歴史を感じる三陸浜街道（鳥谷坂峠、石塚峠、鍬台峠）や、市街地などを巡る約68kmのコースです。市街地は比較的アップダウンが少なく、初心者でも楽しく歩くことができます。一方、鳥谷坂峠、石塚峠、鍬台峠はアップダウンが多く、中級者～上級者向けのコースとなっておりますが、山頂では心地よい風を感じながら美しい景観を見ることができます。また、コース各所の展望台や見晴らしの良い高台からは、市街地や釜石湾を一望できますので、自分だけの絶景スポットを探してみてはいかがでしょうか。

The Kamaishi Route is a 68km course that takes in the nationally designated natural monument of Sanganjima, the coastline overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the historic Sanriku Hama-kaido (Toyasaka Pass, Ishizuka Pass, Kuwadai Pass), and the city. The city has relatively few ups and downs, so even beginners can enjoy the walk. On the other hand, Toyasaka Pass, Ishizuka Pass, and Kuwadai Pass have many ups and downs and are more suitable for intermediate to advanced cyclists, but at the summit you can enjoy beautiful views while feeling a pleasant breeze. Additionally, from the observation decks and high ground with good views along the course, you can get a panoramic view of the city and Kamaishi Bay, so why not try to find your own scenic spot?

みちのく潮風トレイルが通る29市町村の特徴を描いた「市町村スタンプ」が各市町村に1つあり、その内、釜石イラストのスタンプを「釜石観光案内所」に設置してあります。また、当ホテルにもオリジナルスタンプをご用意しておりますので、お気軽にスタッフへお声がけください。

Features of thThere is one "Municipality Stamp" depicting the characteristics of the 29 municipalities that the Michinoku Coastal Trail passes through, and one of these stamps with an illustration of Kamaishi is available at the Kamaishi Tourist Information Center. Our hotel also has original stamps available, so please feel free to ask a member of staff.
